There are many areas you can work on. Wiki - write articles, correct, formats, translate Packages - you can create packages for you favorite programs, or you can cooperate on packages with others see http://en.opensuse.org/Buildservice http://en.opensuse.org/Package_Wishlist distribution - you can test, write bugreports, and test again. I looked ant opensuse.org if there is some information about how to contribute and ... there is http://en.opensuse.org/How_to_Participate It should be written with bigger fonts IMHO. :) Pavel -- Pavel Nemec package-maintainer http://en.opensuse.org/Czech_Packagers_Team --------------------------------------------------------------------- SuSE CR, s.r.o. e-mail: pnemec@suse.cz Lihovarska 1060/12 tel:+420 2 9654 2373 190 00 Praha 9 fax:+420 2 9654 2374 Ceska republika http://www.suse.cz

If those fonts are the wrong size for you, you've negelected to adjust your browser's preference sizes. Unlike Novell's Bugzilla, which uses mostly 12px or less, it's one of those rare sites that almost respects users by allowing them to see primarily almost their preferred font size (it makes <p> text net 95% of their preference). https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=203468 http://mrmazda.no-ip.com/auth/bigdefaults.html -- "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped." The discussion about frontpage redesign is not finished in opensuse-wiki mail list. It is put on hold after having agreement about layout, but next step is how to organize links. Now the discussion should focus on left navigation bar and underlaying structure. We still have to write a lot of articles about how to use wiki, what style is preferred, more templates that are explained how to use, and so on. BTW, "Participate in openSUSE" is in the middle of the window. How would you be able to find out the contributor(s) of a build service repo and thereby offer to assist or cooperate? I have looked and can not find any contact information. Further, I can see no readily available way to contact them with issues or bug reports of their build packages. -- /path/to/Truth --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
