For some reason unknown to me, kscd began to load as part of the 7.1 desktop a couple weeks ago, (much as if I had placed a program in the windows startup folder,) so I'm assuming it has somehow been placed in a startup script, but I have no idea where that might be. I've searched in /etc/rc.d but have yet to find anything that gives a clue. Could someone tell me how to disable this unwanted "feature." thanks, dave -- David C.
