Hello everyone. I am planing to put together a powerful dual processor linux box and am wondering if you have a recommendation on the mother board. Obviously, I would prefer the less expensive solutions but I also hate getting a motherboard which doesn't last or perform well. As for the processor, I am open to both P4 (say 2.4GHz) or XP 2100 or so. I also prefer DDR memory for their better performance. Also, is there anything that I should watch for in particular to be able to install Linux on a dual processor machine? I would appreciate your suggestions. Many thanks, Ali.
