I am having an annoying issue with VLC but I do not know if this is a setting. I cannot find any solution. When playing VLC in leap I am getting a empty black windows with the controls of VLC and a detached Video window that has done its "declaration of independence" floating all alone. When I close the video, the sound goes on up to stopping the VLC main window with the controls. So I suppose this is not a feature but a bug? Or is there a setting to stop it? In Tumbleweed I do not get this. However in Tumbleweed I have to use nouveau, and this gives a flickering orgy with system freezes. In Leap I can use Nvidia driver (I run a Nvidia GX 210 card (with Nvidia G03 driver). Can this be the issue? Thanks in advance for hints. --- Alle Postfächer an einem Ort.
