[opensuse] opensuse 11.4 rpm package for Nvidia driver 260.19.44 anywhere available/archived?
Hi there! The newest 270 nvidia driver series from nvidia obs repositories makes my laptop not returning from suspend to ram. So I was wondering whether rpms e.g. the x11-video-nvidiaG02-260.19.44-24.1.x86_64.rpm for 260 series are anywhere lying around /archived? There were removed from the nvidia repos and at that time rpm caching on my machine was not active :( (Actually I would prefer to use the nouveau driver but the last version give me regular freezes after ca. 30 min of running KDE, so that is unfortunately not an option) Thanks and cheers, Andre -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

(Sorry for pm!) Yes, but I usually prefer to install those things within the package management to keep better track of libs etc. But I installed it now via the nvidia installer, and the with old driver the machine resumes from suspend from ram so thanks for the pointer!! Of course, I proved myself needing the strict policy of "use only the package management" by messing up some libGL and friends (had the new nvidia rpm package still installed, installed the old nvidia driver via installer, removed it via installer etc. ) such that the nouveau driver is not starting right now :) But nvidia driver works like a charm right now, thanks for the help!!! Cheers, Andre
