I think a newsgroup would be good for name recognition of SuSE. It would sit right next to the Red Hat and Debian groups in linux.suse.*. If nothing else, SuSE may get more defections from RH and others. I switch to SuSE when I saw it at Borders and was having lots of trouble with Red Hat. But most people have never even heard of SuSE.

mmm... I visit comp.os.linx.misc daily and plow through 200-300 msgs that may not pertain to SuSE. Also, I get tired of the ego-flame-wars, the anarchists of the right and left, the "HOT TEEN SEX" spams, etc, etc, etc. I prefer the mail-list.
