Hi, I'm on a SuSE 7.2 and i'm quite bugged by a little problem... I have some sites on the box, and a site is not receiving mails correctly. (bind 9.1.2 and postfix). If i reload the dns, I can send one mail from an external provider and it will be received ok, but the second one sent from the external provider is returned to sender with an error "couldn't find a mail exchanger or IP address. (#5.4.4)" I don't know what i am to do... my dns worked quite well while it was on a suse 7.0, but I had to transfer from the 7.0 to the new 7.2 box, and from this time on, I keep having problems like this. here's what I have in my zone $TTL 1D mysite.com. IN SOA my.dns.box. root.domain.com. ( 2001112005 ; serial 8H ; refresh 2H ; retry 1W ; expire 1D ; default_ttl ) mysite.com. IN NS my.dns.box. mysite.com. IN NS my.other_dns.box. mysite.com. IN A IP.of.my_other_dns.box mysite.com. IN MX 5 my.other_dns.box localhost IN A 127.0.0.1 localhost IN MX 10 mysite.com. www IN A some.where.else.ip mail IN CNAME my.other_dns.box. ftp IN A some.where.else.ip What am I to do ?... is there logs I can look at ?... the /var/log/messages doesn't say anything nor the /var/log/mail... in warn i have this : Nov 20 16:04:26 ns0 named[13560]: the default for the 'auth-nxdomain' option is now 'no' Nov 20 16:04:26 ns0 named[13560]: option 'check-names' is not implemented
