You certainly went out of your way to make an exception. Perhaps you should see if you recently suffered an anuerysm.
Frankly, you just appear to be an idiot,
Frankly, you are having some wild dark fantasy that has nothing to do with me...I just happened to walk by.

I'd hardly call two messages a thread. You certainly have an awfully short fuse!
Don't feel bad,
Meaning, of course, quite the opposite. Your mind is rather simplistic. I don't feel bad at all: I feel great! I know this disappoints you, but I can't say I'm sorry.
some people just aren't smart enough to run unix.
It's not a question of smarts. It is too obvious your elitism overrides any feigned sincerity.
There's always beOS.
Whatever. There are always assholes, too, as you seem so adamant on proving yourself to be one.
ps. yes I just flamed you, and note that I didn't have to do it on a public mailing list like some little bitch stroking his ego.
Of course not...that way, no one will witness your crime. Furthermore, you have your genders mixed. I think I see your problem. I'll take care of this little matter, and let the public view your latest remarks to me, via this message. (No doubt you'll deny you ever *sent me a message in private...as that is how your kind behaves.)
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings,
Oh, you didn't hurt my feelings. What makes you think you even have such influence? A voodoo doll? Black candle? You are on your own power trip, for whatever strange reason. After all, what is your email? "satan@nfinity.com". Really, I don't think anyone should communicate with you, as your volative replies to me, along with calling yourself "satan", is indicative of an unstable (and possibly dangerous) mind.
but get a life, what do you care what someone online thinks of you.
Obviously, I care a lot less than you do! Try not to sweat it so much...I am busy tending to other chores. But I assure you, I will get around in a day or two, to your earlier rude replies regarding that I should RTFM. Which I have done, thoroughly, before posting my question. There is definitely some sloppy writing in the manual, as well as in the docs. I do not have time to go into it, for another two days...but I will, including addressing your hysterical remarks. Suffice it to say at this point, that a manual that bounces you around from one section to another, within just a few short pages, certainly needs more work done to make it any better than the plethora of bad Linux manuals already out there...and I've read over a dozen in the last few months. You have been placed on my personal twit filter...so sending me any more mail *personally, I will never see. Please keep your remarks in the list. Please, can we stop this personal flamewar? It doesn't help anybody. Back to the problem: If someone has this kind of problems, we need to improve the installation and the documentation. It's that simple.

My solution is to put "satan" in my twit filter, as well as automatically forward any more personal remarks from him, to this list.

I am too busy to describe further the difficulty I have run into, but will describe how the book proceeds (incorrectly)...and how, even when I am able to select "sppcd" it first says it found my CD, then in a later step, says it can't mount it. I'm sure many participants *do...even if you don't. Are you claiming you speak for everyone in the SuSE listserver? Don't you think this is perhaps stepping on others' toes, Nils? But I believe you actually *should care, if you want to turn more people on to Linux. If you did care, it would behoove you to use peer pressure to discourage regular participants like Michael Lankton <satan@nfinity.com> (a.k.a. "satan"), to not jump all over new members who ask legitimate questions. To make his sudden intrusions on my personal e-mail all *my responsibility, is like dumping an orphan child at my door and demanding I raise it, or else! You made it clear you *don't care...so I wrote this message to benefit others who perhaps *do care.
Welcome to my killfile.
Aren't we a bit jumpy this morning? Personally, with your type of short-fused temper (a la "satan") I doubt you'd be of much benefit to *any Linux newbie, so it's no loss not hearing from you. --- My web site kicks (but never licks) butt! <A HREF="http://ezekielk.simplenet.com/</A">http://ezekielk.simplenet.com/</A> -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

I would appreciate your wish to remove "satan" from the list...unless, of course, you embrace his slamming of new participants. I am really disappointed that no one spoke up against his outrageous and uncalled for rude remarks and intrusions upon me. Even if you still see me as a "problem", by that measure you'd see "satan" as much more so. And if you want *me off the list, then more so, should you want "satan" off too. (Or are you under satan's control?) :-)))) But as I stated earlier: It is often a convenient route for the mass mentality to blame the victim, though it is the most unfair choice. (Look how many blamed the Jews for Germany's problems in the 1930's, and see where it led to.) I have seen *no message criticizing (ahem) "satan" for his attack upon me...instead, I get blamed for his actions. Does this bully run your show for you, or what?
Thank you kindly.

Oh my tired ackin' ass. Just once it would be nice if someone would try NOT to drag the Jews/Germany/Nazi etc into "I'm a victim" routine.
You read into this statement, what is not there. In fact, I have received far more accolades for my site's presentation, than any negative attacks. Except, of course, from your typical homophobe. Check out my guestbook, if you care to find out for yourself.
Nowhere in the first post was there anything "homophobe". It seems as if you are working the "I'm a victim" line. At least with Michael Lankton <satan@nfinity.com> when he flames or gets flamed he does not weep to the group "oh poor little me!" Looking back over all of your posts and Michael's, I've found that you have 11 and he 5. In your 11 you cried about #1 not getting Linux working, #2 how Michael flamed you, and #3 how bad we are for not goose-stepping right behind you to kick Michael off the list. On the other hand Michael's posts were on topic and helpful to others. Who should we kick off? Yes, Michael has a sharp tongue, so what? I hope that you grow up some.
