[SLE] 29.99$ for suse 6.3
Hi all, I live in Dallas Texas and last nite I went to best buy to get a few things for my wife for Christmas. Wile I was there I went and looked at all the linux distros that were out to compare price and software and mostly just to wish that I had a system with 10 10 gig disks that I could run all the software I could..... anyway Suse 6.3 was there and it was 29 bucks.. 6cds and the manual. not bad so if you want to upgrade I think that is the cheapest I have seen it anyware on the net of retail. also I did look at a few other distros, please forgive me, what to you guys think of mandrake (sp?) it looked intrestion and it was only 34 bucks or so. laters Ron -- Ron Morgan jr. Hi, Ron, I had the same good fortune. Within a week-10 days after the release of Suse 6.3, I found it at the local Best Buy for $29, and was the "first kid on my block" to have it. Even with the local sales tax is was a lot cheaper than on line, especiall considering the cost of shiping. That's how I got copies of the last several distros of it too. Bill Ron Morgan wrote:
