Hi there, In my inittab I have the following lines to start my faxgetty: # fax getty (hylafax) mo:35:respawn:/usr/lib/fax/faxgetty ttyS1 # mo:35:respawn:/usr/lib/fax/faxgetty faxbox Unfortunately I need to recieve a different configuration (faxbox). I need this since all in comming faxes are stored in an external faxbox until I poll them and this box has a different setup than my modem. And here is my question: How can I simply change the config for faxgetty. My ugly solution is to edit the inittab (disable both entries) reload the inittab with init q this stops the faxgetty. Edit the inittab again now uncomment the wnated line and again init q. Is there a smarter way to do this? Thanks a lot for any hint Michael
