I picked one of these up on a clearance bin, just for SK & Gs, and wondering if anybody's been able to make this work under Linux? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

If yo could pass up the results of lsusb as it concerns this device then you could possibly get some info back. ;) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Driver worked quite nicely, at least under Ekiga. (Camelot keeps crashing for some odd reason). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Now what I really want to know is if there is a client that interacts with Yahoo chat where I can use the webcam to talk to my son. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I don't know of one, but certainly wish that I did. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Kopete works nicely with yahoo webcam for me. There's a heisenbug with adding people to your contact list that i haven't been able to nail down, but once added the webcam works well with it. And I've just updated the KDE:KDE3 packages so that PWC webcams work in Kopete again, but that will take a few days to percolate out due to Alpha5.. Yep, same here - I bought a webcam and struggled for a bit only to learn that the webcam isn't supported by gaim, and kopete supports webcam chat only with yahoo or msn protocols. So I logged into yahoo chat using my yahoo credentials, and the webcam was very easy and straightforward to use in kopete.
