Seems that probably the problem is almost strange, because I don't have located information in Internet about this problem: Don't appear many of the hadware icons in my desktop. Durning the first month of my new SuSE 8.2 (migration from Red Hat) I have those icons: - CD-ROM - CD-RW - disc2 (hdc2) - C (hdc1, windows) - Floppy - Scanner - SDA (USB CompactFlash Adapter, since I've mounted it) When I open a new account, I have all of those icons and is correct, but my main account have lost all icons except disc2 and Floppy. When I run SuSEWatcher from the command line, always starts with this error: benjami@itaca:~> susewatcher ERROR: KUniqueApplication: DCOP communication error! I've tried to delete the ~/.kde/share/apps/susewatcher directory, and have good news: when I starts SuSEWatcher I can see more icons: cd-rom, cd-r, floppy and disc 2... but scanner, windows and SDA don't appears. If I unplug and plug the USB scanner, the screen makes one refresh, but with no new icons: the scanner doesn't appears.
