Cannot Run Yast2 Online Update
Hi list. I Just installed 9.0, when I running Yast2 to do Online Update it cannot received the server list. And the warning message appear: URL: http://www.suse.de/cgi-bin/suseservers.cgi socket error: 110 What does this mean? I think nothing wrong with the firewall and internet connections. I run the SuSEfirewall2 on 7.3 machine and the setup is basically allow the passive ftp traffic and http traffic. TIA edwin

Error 110 is "Connection timed out". SuSE's site is very overloaded. At times you just have to keep retrying

Or how about you do the server a favour, and try one of the other mirrors. I reckon most people never bother or realise that there they can use another server which are invariably less loaded than the SUSE one. PS.
