Is there an easy way to go back, form the .13 kernel in 9.2 to the .11 kernel? If not, whats the least painful way?

Sure, just download it, and install via rpm -Uvh --oldpackage <kernel name.rpm>, and reboot. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Registered Linux user 231871

You only needed to send this once. rpm -Uvh --oldpackage /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.2/rpm/i586/kernel-default-2.6.8-24.11.i586.rpm all on one line of course. you may need to "downgrade" the kernel sources and kernel-syms as well if you have them installed. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please* "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge
