I didn't get any takers to my request for help, so will try again. Whether I install 11.2 with automatic or manual configuration I cannot proceed past the screen which says "Preparing the 1st system configuration" (After all the packages have been installed..) So I rebooted back to 11.0 and mounted the partition where I tried to install 11.2 as /SuSE11.2 in my 11.0 system. That allows me to take a look at things, so I first started with the log files to see if I could learn anything interesting...
