[opensuse] OpenOfficd.org Spreadsheet Problem
I have a small OO.org spreadsheet that has trouble staying open under the SuSE-supplied OpenOffice.org build 2.3.0.1.2. It was created using a non-SuSE OO.org 2.0.3 under SuSE 10.2. Whenever I scroll down a column to find something, I get a notice that the sheet needs to be rebuilt. It gets rebuilt and then I try it again ,,, and then the same notice comes up. Is there anything I should look for to fix or do I just give it up? -- Best regards, Dennis J. I would try to save it as an .xls excel 2k/2003 spreadsheet. Then open it and save again to it's original specifications. Quite often, I found that changing between openoffice and MS-Office formats back and forth surprisingly cured many strange looking faults with office files from both products. On a side note, OpenOffice it is a very good opportunity for me to repair damaged MS-Office files. If they do not open with MS-Office anymore, once opened with ms-office, much more often than never, they will work with MS-Office, once again. imho worth a try. kind regards Eberhard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
