Eval vs. Professional?
Hi: Here it says that the Eval version (.iso download) has 1000 packages, while the FTP version has 3500. Couldn't one simply install the Eval version, then install any other desired packages through FTP? Could this be done through Yast, or would one have to download and install such packages outside the set of 1000 manually, since the *index* of known packages to the Eval version is only 1000 or so long? Thanks. -- ____________________________________ Christopher R. Carlen Principal Laser/Optical Technologist Sandia National Laboratories CA USA crcarle@sandia.gov

Yes, in yast you can specify the repository to use, including CD and FTP.
