From where do you set up your client's email application to download the mail from? Do you run your own mail server on the SuSE Enterprise Server machine or do you try to download from servers outside your domain? AFAIK squid is a web proxy and can not be configured as POP3/IMAP proxy. So if what you want to do is to set up a proxy service on the server machine to allow your clients to fetch their email from mail servers outside your domain, you might have a look at http://www.vergenet.net/linux/perdition/. Perdition is a mail retrieval proxy and supports both POP3 and IMAP. Regards, -- Andreas Philipp Noema Ltda. Bogotá, D.C. - Colombia
