[SuSE Linux] screen blanker in terminal mode
Is is possible to turn off the screen blanker when in terminal mode? I have a switch for my computers using one monitor and when ever Linux goes to the blank screen I loose control of the machine. I am not sure if the blanker is the cause, just eliminating possibilities. Yes. The setterm command controls the screen blanking in terminal mode. The command "setterm -blank 0" should disable the screen blanking.
