I would use opensuse.org or www.opensuse.org. It will then look for the language preferences. e.g. if I go come from that page, I still see the en.* version. If somebody from germany clicks, he goes to de.* version. That is unless you want to link to a specific aticle. So with b, the first choice. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Please do, spread the word.
Any restrictions?
I think we still have no definite policy how to handle derivative distributions - i.e. when you roll your own distro from our packages (or in the build service when it will be able to do so) it is still unclear if, and in what form, you will be allowed to use the (open)SUSE name logo. For a simple link to opensuse.org no restrictions are known to me. Sonja -- Sonja Krause-Harder (skh@suse.de) Research & Development SUSE Linux Products GmbH
Thanks Sonja, for clear answer, and Houghi, too. Daniel Am Donnerstag, 20. April 2006 18:53 schrieb Sonja Krause-Harder:

So using makeSUSEdvd may mean you are breaking the law..

Yes, if there were a law already hiding somewhere. But No: As Sonja is still missing a mere 'policy', there isn't a 'law' for sure! :-) So go ahead, and make good use of the word and the logo. This builds the foundation for later case-law, if ever needed ... cheers, Jw. -- o \ Juergen Weigert paint it green! __/ _=======.=======_ <V> | jw@suse.de wide open suse_/ _---|____________\/ \ | 0911 74053-508 (tm)__/ (____/ /\ (/) | __________________________/ _/ \_ vim:set sw=2 wm=8
