Still can't fix my yast problem... Here's some more about it: I took the hard drive out of the machine and put it inside another, and yast runs just fine. When I put it back in the original machine I get the same problem: yast comes up as a blank screen that I can only ctrl-c out of. I'm guessing it's something with that specific machine, but I can't think what it could possibly be...
