Which kernel to use? Which kernel works best with what processors? I now use the default kernel with my K6-3 AMD and it does a great job, but I think, if I understand things correctly, the i386 kernel is optimized for the PIII, P4 and Athlon processors? Or does the default kernel work best overall with any of these? Nope .. i386 is for just that..the 386 CPU.
