Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do: :~> zypper se -si java-1_8_0-openjdk Carregando dados de repositório... Lendo os pacotes instalados... S | Nome | Tipo | Versão | Arquitetura | Repositório --+-----------------------------+--------+--------------+-------------+------------------------ i | java-1_8_0-openjdk | pacote | 1.8.0.77-1.1 | i586 | openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Oss i | java-1_8_0-openjdk-headless | pacote | 1.8.0.77-1.1 | i586 | openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Oss i | java-1_8_0-openjdk-plugin | pacote | 1.6.2-2.2 | i586 | openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Oss But openjdk is outdated. Updated ones are 1.8.0.91 o2 92. The corresponding plugin might be not outdated, latest seem to be the same version 1.6.2* as in the repository (probably will). -- []s, Fernando de Oliveira -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Notice that from that site you do not get openJDK. That's Oracle's Java, currently at 8.91 Download page is here (JRE): https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp or for the JDK: https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/develop.xml then go to the link in the text that says "JDK downloads.", currently: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.htm... Remember, this is not OpenJDK, nor iced-tea. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)

Yes, thanks.
Download page is here (JRE):

No, I use those sites just to test. I am using OpenJDK and IcedTea-Web-1.6.2 as in OS Tumbleweed. Building the plugin is fast and easy: http://icedtea.classpath.org/download/source/icedtea-web-1.6.2.tar.gz http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/xsoft/icedtea-web.html compiled with OpenJDK-1.8.0.77 (I was needing OpenJDK-1.8.0.92 including devel). More problematic (mainly in building time) is OpenJDK. http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/general/openjdk.html -- []s, Fernando -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
