[opensuse] zypper and cross-architecture install
Hi, To get Java working on 64bit host you obviously still need to be running 32bit Firefox? Does zypper know the magic to do this, ie. zypper install MozillaFirefox@i586 as smart did? -- // Janne -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Not necessarily, and that would involve installing 32bit java too. You can use 64bit java with 64bit konqueror if you wish.

Not yet, you can use yast -> software management -> version tab (assuming you're using yast in kde) and select the 32bit version. -- Benjamin Weber -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Sure.

Yeah, but this case is for an application that does not support Konq.

A-ha. Thanks, that was well hidden. Hardly surprising that Gnome has all of the goodies hidden ;) -- // Janne -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
