Hi guys, I seem to have a bit of a problem with the scsi emulation that I compiled into the kernal so I can burn cds. [...] I compiled the kernal with the following options Under scsi support scsi generic support = y probe all luns = n scsi support =y
under filesystems iso9660 cdrom filesystem support=y microsoft joliet cdrom extension=y
under Block devices include ide/atapi cdrom support =n scsi emulation support =y [...] Now after all that what the problem is, I cant mount my cdroms anymore. I changed in fstab the dev/hdd which is my cdrom to /dev/sr0 and it didnt work. It came up with the following error mount: /dev/sr0 has wrong major or minor number.
I tried /dev/scd0 and got the same error.
Have you enabled `SCSI CD-ROM support' in the kernel configuration? Ciao, Stefan If you start talking about a new subject, then don't reply to an unrelated mail and change its subject.

What should I try now?
Have you established the link /dev/cdrom pointing to /dev/scd0. You may want tý use YAST Intergrate hardware so /dev/cdrom is a correct link HTH <p> -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@turk.net 100% MS FREE Absolutely no component of Microsoft was used in the generation or posting of this e-mail.
