kavi2svcd - How to convert 1 avi to multiple mpeg1 files to fit the VCDs
Hello all, I've been playing around with kavi2svcd a bit during the past few days, but I've sofar been unable to convince the program to create mpeg1 files the size of my VCDs (700 MB) from 1 avi file. I know I'll need at least 2 VCDs to fit this movie. Currently I get an "image too big" error when I run the vcdimager part of the program. Any and all help would be much appreciated. Regards, Pieter Hulshoff

Just enter "650MB" (or whatever) in the "Video size" field in the transcode section of kavi2svcd (the first tab). It will then (AIUI) put markers into the file that cause the final output by the muxer to be split into files of this size. It worked for me!
