Looks like I have some 1.4 and some 1.5 installed. Not getting any dependency errors either. Can these co-exists without problems?
Of that, I'm not certain. I uninstalled 1.4 then installed 1.5.
In general, JRE 1.4 and newer are designed to co-exist with each other.
Before I went to 10.0 I had both the 1.4 and 1.5 JRE and JVM's running on my laptop with no issues. OOo ran with 1.4, which it needed and I did all my development, plus ran Azareous in 1.5. -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com linux - genuine windows replacement part

Thanks for the info. YaST did have me trash one of the 1.4 packages when I added 1.5, but didn't complain about the other 1.4 packages, though I don't think I installed every 1.5 package, just those I thought I'd need. Hopefully I won't run into any problems. Greg Wallace
