[SuSE Linux] star office 5.0 and SUSE 6.0
Hi, I purchased Suse 6.0 but found no registration card in the box. Additionally, the registration number was not printed on the inner portion of the manual. I'm wondering how to go about installing star office. I ran sosetup but the star office install requires a key. Therefore, I went to the star office site and optioned one. I enter the user information and then the key. However, the "next" button is never selectable. Thanks, Scott Gray PS: I did install so_en. However, I did it manually as follows: rpm -Uvh --force so_enxxx.rpm The package would not install without my specifying the "force" option. When I did the Suse install, I selected the install everything option. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
I'm having the same problems, too: 1) The "next" button can't be selected. 2) rpm -Uvh --force so_enxxx.rpm didn't have any effect. 3) No registration card in the SuSE box for me, either. Any suggestions? -- Glenn -- Scott Gray wrote:
