Hello SuSE folkz,
Could somebody please point me to the journaling FS on Linux which could handle large file sizes without performance suffering.

XFS was specifically written to support large files, but I don't know how it compares to other FS choices. XFS is "experimental" in the SuSE 8.0 kernel and I think uses a several month old version, so buyer beware. The latest XFS release is XFS V1.1 and it is in the experimental kernel at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mantel/next/ This whole kernel is experimental, so even more buyer beware.
