Hello, I do not have great knowledge, but your target filesystem it would appear is your 300meg /home directory. But it should be just /. Also I would suggest making the 300meg directory your /usr and the 600meg / from what I have heard you say you are going to do with this system 300 meg may be pushing the size limit for the filesystem itself and the user doesn't need too much space.
