Hello list,
I'd like to make a floppy disk or a bootable CD that all the
installation procedures are prepared that user do not need to type
anything to installed a pre-defined installation. In other words,
after putting the floppy disk or bootable CD, the machine can do
the modules loading, language selection, keymap selection, hard drive
partitioning, directories mounting, formating, packages selection and
installation, even the network configuration and root password is
pre-defined. How is it possible to achieve this goal? Any good
reference to read?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a nice tool for this called ALICE. Look at the package, documentation should be included. And IMHO it is very nice, and very powerful -- exactly what you're looking for. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A.
