[opensuse] checking for processes using deleted files
after tiring of multiple entries and blank lines in checking for replaced running processes, I have created a handy alias for "zypper ps": alias zps='zypper ps |grep -v ^\ |uniq' Just thought someone might find it handy. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Good for you guys that you find a workaround. Better for the project would be to file a bug report or a feature request to get zypper ps less noisy. Lars -- Lars Müller [ˈlaː(r)z ˈmʏlɐ] Samba Team SUSE Linux, Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany
