[SLE] Suse on micro channel architecture?
Anybody running Suse 6.3 on a micro channel (PS/2) machine? My neighbor's company replaced about a dozen server 95 machines and gave them to me just for hauling them away. I did until few days ago. Its a PS/2 model 70. In order to get SuSE 6.3 to install I downloaded a MCA boot disk from SuSE's ftp site for an older version (6.2 or 6.1, I don't recall the exact version) and used it to install 6.3. It worked pretty well until my machine got fried (nothing to do with Linux ;-) Avi Arthur Kelly wrote:

I tried w/ 6.3 on a 9585 (I think) and it was no go. But I did get the 6.2 eval disk to install. I had a hardware failure not to long after so I'm not sure about full function but it installed ok.
