How do I solve it? I am emulating with ide-scsi a philips cd-rw, and I am using Suse Linux 7.1 with 2.4.16 Kernel. Praise

ide-scsi was already on. The problem was that I was using the cd-rw su-ing from a remote account. All accounts are limited via pam. I think that's the problem. I logged in as root in the console and the problem disappeared. Praise
