RE: [SLE] make errors when compiling programs
Actually, I copied /usr/src/linux/include/asm to /usr/include/asm and everything works fine now. I had read some other posts elsewhere that suggested to do a make cloneconfig in my kernel source (/usr/src/linux) and then make dep, but that didn't work... Thanks anyway... -Khanh -----Original Message----- From: Pete [mailto:smugzilla@sbcglobal.net] Sent: Saturday, April 17, 2004 2:18 PM To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: Re: [SLE] make errors when compiling programs Khanh Tran wrote:
When I compile various programs under SuSE 9.0 (2.4.21-199) I get these errors:

Can anyone help me?

It looks like you have some uncompilable source code for your configuration, and unless you know C++ well enough to look for the pronblem yourself (and parse errors are usually very easy to spot even for beginners) there's nothing we can do from here without seeing the code. Look through configure --help. You may have to set a flag for some specific compiler options. -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
