[SLE] Likes and dislikes about KDE2, so far
A few things I've noticed that I'm not crazy about. Many of the icons that work on KDE don't work for KDE2. Where KMail for KDE is multi account, I haven't been able to configure more than one email account for KMail2 KDE2 is very fast loading, and slow as a snail unloading. Don't get impatient once you click logout. What's nice! Just about everything else. Konqueror especially. Now I'm off to play some more. -- Linux - The choice of a GNU generation -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

This is a known problem. There's a timeout to wait for applications which don't support (i.e. ignore) KDE's session management. There should be some feedback during this waiting period (grey out the screen, or print a "Please wait" dialog, or something). It's being discussed on the KDE developers list. In the meantime, as Jerry says, just be a bit patient when you hit "logout". -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
