All, I have a question. This might not be the right mailing list. I'm going to do the certification program NCLE en NCLP. I would like to know what another good certification might be? Regards, Joop.

Linux Professional Institute Their certifications are generic, not particular to any distro. But if you have NCLE it's assumed that it includes the knowledge certified by LPI + particulars of SUSE. http://www.lpi.org

LPI will make 4 exam sessions during FOSDEM, with special rates: only 50 EUR (normal price is 100 USD).
"During FOSDEM 2006, you will also have the opportunity to hold LPI exams; there will be 4 sessions:
* Saturday, 13:00-14:30 (room: H2214)
* Saturday, 15:00-16:30 (room: H2214)
* Sunday, 10:00-11:30 (room: H2215 (Ferrer))
* Sunday, 12:00-13:30 (room: H2215 (Ferrer))
Other important thing : the price will be set at 50 ?, which is really less than the normal price.
People interested in taking these exams need an LPI ID (see LPI website) and are asked to mail us so
we have an estimation of the attendees."
Get yourself an LPI ID: http://www.lpi.org/
Send a mail to the FOSDEM staff: mailto:info@fosdem.org?Subject=LPIExams
More information: http://www.fosdem.org/2006
cheers

There you see what you get from walking around upside down all the time: The answer was in the mail you quoted, and you missed it! :-) (It's a "Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting", according to the web site) Rasmus
