Dropping in the latest kernel without further testing would not be a good idea. I agree with you wholeheartedly. The release of 2.2 is too close to 6.0. However, I hope that the next release will not be six months away, as was the case with coming from 5.3 to 6.0. I appreciate that going to glibc is a big thing, so I hope that next time will be easier - I can already see three 'biggies' that is knocking on the door: Samba 2.0 with native NT domain support Linux Kernel 2.2 - when it settles down. KDE 1.1 is close to being final - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
