Further to my earlier posting. Edit etc/cups/cupsd.conf on the server SERVER Browsing options Browsing On <Location /> Order Deny,Allow Deny From None Allow From 127.0.0.1, 192.168.0.3 </Location> where 192.186.0.2 is the host with the printer. On the remote host edit etc/cups/cupsd.conf Browsing On BrowsePoll: 192.168.0.2:631 If you don't then you will probably only see the remote printer in the browser once before it disappears. Regarding StarOffice /opt/office52/prrogram/spadmin just follow the procedure in the CUPS documentation on linuxprinting.org and use the same printer name as your remote printer.
