[opensuse] VOIP peer to peer
Hi, I want to setup a point to point voice comm link between my work and home machine (I have control over the home network, firewall wise, but the work IT setup is out of my hands, there are MS proxys, MS IS firewalls, Hotbrick routers, etc). But I can get a ssh pipe organised. Any ideas of how this setup should look? I can use skype etc, but I would prefer a peer-to-peer connection without the necessity of an 3rd party server. Some app I just need to punch in the IP and talk. With a SIP phone, either in software or as normal phone, you can dial to the IP address of another SIP phone. You should be able to talk to another SIP enabled phone without an intermediate server afaik. Theo -- Theo v.
