I have LibreOffice version 3.4.5 installed and when writing a document today, with auto spell check enabled, just about every word was underlined indicating that the word was misspelled. I used F7 to bring up the spell checker and every suggestion for the correct spelling was in a foreign language even though I only have the US English installed. Has anyone else noticed this? openSUSE 12.1 Latest version from openSUSE-12.1-Update. libreoffice-3.4.5.5-4.5.1.x86_64 12.1/x86_64 I do *not* see this problem; writer seems to be behaving normally.

i've not noticed it nor seen it reported before, so to me it sounds like somehow the text being spell checked as gotten changed in the setup to not match the spell checker installed.. so, check what the text to be spell checked is designated as: with the cursor in the text to be tested go Tools > Language > For Selection, and see if it is set to "English (USA)" if not you probably need to select Tools > Language > For All Text > Reset to Default Language and, if that doesn't cure the problem you probably need to Tools > Language > For All Text > More > Default Language for Documents and, make sure you actually have Western Default English (USA) selected if you do, then seems you have discovered a bug that no one else has.. i can't duplicate it here with my 11.4 and LO 3.4.5 OOO340m1 Build:1505 let us know how you get on... dd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
