[opensuse] TaskJuggler not working with opensuse 11??
i installed TaskJuggler from YaST and no error occurred. But the program doesnt seem to work. There is no menu appear on my GNOME (normally it would). If I try to run from terminal ./taskjuggler tes.tjp, it says Unexpected end of file found. Probably a missing '}'. Something wrong with TaskJuggler for opensuse packet?? One click install produce the same result. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Probably a missing '}'. That sounds like a syntax problem with tes.tjp. Did it used to work? mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

i dont think tes.tjp is the problem. I tried ./taskjuggler & and it said it required a parameter like a new file. tes.tjp doesnt exist and i just gave it as a parameter as asked. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I think "taskjuggler" assumes that you've already created a project file using some other editor. cheers, mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Mike> Try "TaskJugglerUI &". Sorry, I just realized that this is in the taskjuggler-kde package, not the taskjuggler package. I've brought it up under GNOME, but most of my experience with it was under KDE. Unfortunately, GNOME Help doesn't appear able to read the TaskJuggler help page. mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

yes so did I. so I additionally installed taskjuggler-kde and now it works and appears on my menu. But... looks not stable. crashes a lot :( -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
