From the SuSE Download page at http://www.suse.co.uk/uk/private/download/suse_linux/index.html
*Important note:* Download the files only if you can /export the data to your local network with NFS/! If you do not have this possibility or want to install SUSE LINUX on one host only, perform the FTP installation as described above. It is /not/ possible to generate installation CDs from a complete download.
Now, that being said, do you have another computer you can run as an FTP server? I downloaded the 9.0 tree and simply accessed via FTP on my other system for a network installation. Might work for you. -- .: Mitch Contla : http://mitch.contla.net :.

Others (besides FTP and NFS) that I haven't tried, but are theoretically possible: - place these files on a seperate partition or harddrive and install from there (you could put it in a drive caddy for moving around too) - dump it to a USB/Firewire external disk, and install from there (again, nice and portable) - if you have one windoze box, put the files in a shared folder, and install to the target machine over smb (requires two machines and a network) I tend to do NFS for ease. Theoretically you could create your own CD/DVD's, but you would have to do a lot of massaging of various files to get it working. -- stephen/dot/boddy/at/btinternet/dot/com
