See subject. I couldn't figure out why we couldn't get anonymous ftp working on SuSE 6.2, when it worked fine on a remote 6.0 site we manage Exactly the same versions of wu.ftpd on both, and all the permissions matched. It turns out the version of ls in the sample ftp dir /usr/local/ftp/bin/ls seems to be broken. By restoring the ls binary from the 6.0 version I now have a perfectly working anonymous ftp. I don't know if the compress and tar binaries in the same place are already broken, not tested here. -- Rachel -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
