If you're using an IMAP mail server, it's easy to copy mail back to the server. Also, Mozilla is available for Windows, as well as Linux and is a far safer alternative to Outlook Express. It's also a good idea to use Mozilla, instead of Internet Explorer, again for security reasons.

A few months ago - can't remember when, exactly - someone posted instructions on using a shared folder on the vfat partition for mozilla/thunderbird mail accessible from both Linux and Windows. You can save your KMail folders in mbox format which I think thunderbird can import, but I doubt that Outlook Express would be able to do that. You'd be far better off with thunderbird or mozilla mail anyway and both can be used in Windows and Linux. Have a hunt through the list archives.
