Well here's the list of problems I have encountered thus far: Job well done!
I just upgraded from 6.4 to 7.2 Personal Edition. It went in very nicely. I do have 1 gripe...... Yast1 dosn't startup from the bootdisk as described on the cdrom jacket. You are supposed to put in cdrom#2 and enter Yast1 at the boot prompt. I get an error saying "Yast1: Boot Image not found." Then it proceeds to Yast2, and I get to Yast1 by aborting Yast2. It is way more time consuming than my 6.4 bootdisk. Otherwise, It looks great. My only disappointment is that the day I received 7.2, the "breakup of Microsoft was voided". zentara NetZero Platinum No Banner Ads and Unlimited Access Sign Up Today - Only $9.95 per month! http://www.netzero.net

Um, same prob here, but what do you mean you "aborted" yast2? I hit OK when it told me I didnt have enough memory for yast 2. I didn't get yast1, I got a text version of yast2. Annd Yes, StarTux/Matt, I did type yast1 all lc at the prompt. I tried various cases and yast without the number. I tmakes no diff whether cd 1 or cd 2 is in the drive. If cd 2 is in, it asks for cd 1. Oh and I am booting from the boot floppy, old box, no cd boot. I emailed installation support and have not heard yet. When I do I will pass it along. -- Bob Rea Fear of Hell is pernicious; So is fear of Heaven. rear@sirius.com http://www.sirius.com/~rear
