Zio! USB SmartMedia Card Reader-> How to Mount ?
Hello All I've been trawling the web looking for a definitive answer but have not been able to mount my Zio! SmartMedia card reader. I tried mounting /dev/sda1 but that failed. Has anyone had experience with this one? Faling that, can anyone recommend a failsafe USB SmartMedia reader/writer? TIA

I use a Dazzle unit which only works corectly if it is plugged in with the card already in it. Took me a while to sort that out, but with the card in the right way and then plugging the usb cable in it comes up OK. If I put a card in while it's plugged then the card isn't recognised. Don't know if that'll help... What messages do you get on console 10 when you plug it up (hit ctrl-alf-F10 to see them)? Dylan
TIA

Not sure about what that means... maybe a usb/scsi guru here can help?

Yes, no problem
Also, I can read this card without any trouble using gtkam through the camera.
Good - you know the card is functional then Dylan -- It is a dark day...
