Running 8.1 on a machine with a Matrox G550 with 3d accel enabled, the mouse cursor obeys all screen margins except the right-hand one, meaning that the mouse escapes off to the right and takes me a short, but irritating, amount of time to find. I have changed no defaults, and previous versions on same hardware didn't do it - anyone know if and how I could fence the little beggar in again? Cage that mouse! I had a similar problem with mga200 with hardware
accel enabled. Upgrade had changed the resolution and X did not
recognize all video ram: the latter I think was the problem. Sax2
apparently doesn't allow manual specification of videoram. Someone on
a debian list had suggested deleting the videoram spec and letting the
driver find it. That worked. Of course, your 550 is much more
sophisticated.
