[opensuse] Request downgrade of LIBs using RUG
Hi, I have several repositories linked in. Rug uses them without significant problems. One repository (quinn-compiz) updated the glib2 to 2.12, which broke functionality of gaim and possibly others. - How can I force rug to take the glib2 of the Standrd Repositories (most probably the UpDate repository I have) instead of quinn-compiz? When I make a rug in UpDates:glib2 (to select glib2 from repository UpDates) I just get the message, glib2 should be Up-ToDate.But still I would like to revert to glib 2.8 (the dependencies in the quinn-compiz repository were already fixed for this). AND: Can I instruct rug NOT to take updates for specific libraries (n my case just again glib2) from a specific Repository? (to be sure it won't just break again in the future)? At the moment I can only use the graphical updater and remove the libs I don't want from the list. But it's not as conveniant as just typing 'rug up' Thank you for your help, Dominique
