Early next week. Kernels get checked in today and will hopefully be on the -test update channels later tonight. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

That repository contans test updates, you can find them in download.opensuse.org/updates/$suse_version-test -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

thats apparently wrong. it should rather read /update/.... http://download.opensuse.org/update/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
why is opensuse so slow in releasing these patches to the public? it was all over the interweb that linux had this kernel problem, and many others have released their kernel patches, only opensuse is still not there. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You know, we actually _test_ those kernels. The -test update repos have it. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The test channels gets all updates as soon as we check them in, without QA. Some updates might be broken (which we notice after checkin occasionaly) and get removed again by us. So you should not use unless you can recover from a deinstalled kernel or deinstalled package manager stack or so ;) (as in "USE AT OWN RISK") The repo urls for 10.3-11.1 are: http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.1-test/ http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.0-test/ http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3-test/ (add them additional to the regular update channel). If you find bugs in them, immediately open a bugreport, "Update Problems" and cc meissner@novell.com,maint-coord@suse.de (mail to the above is possibkle too) Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
